I'm Brendan, I grew up in Cape Town, South Africa. I live in Toronto, Canada now. I really enjoy working on engineering problems with a business use case, there are too many sub-topics to mention. My goal is to build things that I think usefully contribute to humanity.

My skills so far are in software engineering and product development, currently I'm working on Provision which provides APIs to the construction industry, helping to push the construction industry into a more productive phase. Most of our value comes from using machine learning to analyse PDF documents.

I was previously the CTO at SmartWage, which provides earned wage access services on Whatsapp; and CTO/Co-founder at DigsConnect, a student accommodation marketplace.

I think taking risks to try to improve the state of the world is very important for everyone, and my chosen outlet is building startups.
